What's the most reliable midsize SUV under $30K used?
Looking for a used midsize SUV for family of four. Priorities: reliability, cargo space for strollers/sports gear, decent fuel economy. Budget $25-30K. Considering CR-V, RAV4, CX-5. Which do you recommend for 160,000 km+?

For pure reliability, RAV4 is the benchmark. The 2.5L and 8-speed (2019+) proven to 320,000 km+. CR-V is very close second (1.5T has some oil dilution concerns in cold climates, consider hybrid). CX-5 is most fun to drive with nicest interior, but long-term data slightly behind Toyota/Honda. My ranking: 1. RAV4 Hybrid, 2. CR-V, 3. CX-5.
CR-V has noticeably more cargo space than RAV4 and significantly more than CX-5. With two kids and strollers, that might be the deciding factor. CR-V rear legroom is best in class.
