Is a multi-point inspection report enough to skip an independent PPI?
Tempted to trust the auction inspection on a mid-size loader to save fees. Smart or reckless for a $60K+ bid?

Use the report to shortlist and bid, then spend on a local fitter during the buyer inspection window if the money is real. Reports catch obvious issues; independent eyes catch play in pins, pump noise under load, and weld repairs.
For sub-$15K tools maybe skip. For primary plant earning daily rate, independent PPI pays for itself.
